Jim Gianniny has over 40 years of experience in project management, engineering, and construction. As the President, Mr. Gianniny provides C-level executive leadership and is actively involved in new business development, as well as all aspects of business operations. His decades of construction, engineering and development experience began outside of our nation’s capital in the suburbs of Washington DC as a farm hand baling hay for local dairy and horse farms. When Jim became old enough to graduate beyond his 4 summers of casual farm labor he took his first construction job working for the Rouse Companies on such projects as the Lady Bird Johnson Island on the Potomac, The National Science Museum and construction of the pre-planned city, Columbia MD at the age of 16. Aside from a home office stint in the management of a Fortune 500 insurance/investment firm Mr. Gianniny has dedicated himself to contracting. Over the years Mr. Gianniny has enjoyed working on a wide range of construction projects while serving numerous roles vital to the success of the projects and teams involved. A cross section of his portfolio includes, commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, hospital, retail, military, federal, state and private sectors. His role on this wide ranging portfolio is just as diverse beginning with field supervision, project management, senior project management, estimating, construction manager, program manager, owner’s representative, director of operations, subcontractor, general contractor, vice president, president and owner. In recent years Jim has focused almost exclusively on federal programs such as the SBA 8(a), HUB Zone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns designed to assist small businesses and minority/disadvantaged owners to grow and operate successful federal contracting companies.
